Thursday March 28th

Hi All

as I look out the window I fear the Marches are just going to slip off the face of the world in a slip slide of mud and ice. Its the end of March,British Summer time beckons, seed catalogues adorn Welcome mats and log piles dwindle down for spring as daffodils and crocuses bloom..well thats how I remember things being but as winter seems to hold onto us, come into the warmth of the Dukes for a tipple or two and another fine night of Balladeers and Chancers.

We have Ludlow’s Sam Thomas is a guitar/ vocalist with a growing reputation as a singer songwriter and performer of British and American songs. As well as being a solo performer in his own rightSam has played with, and supported, such bands as The Reggaelaters, Deep Elem, Wooden Horse and Grey Wolf.

James and Cerys
We like to think there are many compelling reasons to come and see us, but just to say we are simple, fresh young talent, looking forward to being a part of a superb music night at the Dukes pub in Presteigne.
I sing with my brother playing “Vibrantly” on the keyboards, he is after all a fine drummer but also plays pretty damn good piano.

Roslyn Road.. many of you will have danced or at least tapped your feet and grinned to Rhythm and Bob..who can forget the legendary cover of' Video Killed the radio Star' without a synthesizer in sight!
Now in a new guise, Roslyn Road..
'Local trio with a bag-full of old favourites. Tap your feet; swing your pants; sing along'.

I know those who saw her two previous appearances as Aspel Orchid were impressed  by her charm and quirky songs..now welcome Vaginapocalypse

...perform their own original folk-punk with close harmonies and caustic rapid fire lyrics. Two fingers to the mainstream and a warm hug from the rural underground

I hope thats enough  to persuade you out in this arctic snap we're having..at least John has a ready supply of wood for the fire!

see you there?
