Balladeers and Chancers season 6

In Broad Sheep I alluded to B&C being a return to the Craic and that is indeed what I feel Balladeers has started to become..something looked forward too, a sense of the familiar with good company but each time revisited,something new..that something which persuades us to return or speaks to hesitant doubters at the door to come in and realise this is OK...I'm already welcome..

we start the Autumn glow of season 6 with;

Heed the Thunder a four piece Hereford band about who you can learn much more on their website.. I think 'Blood on The Street' has elements of Pernice Brothers but thats only on cursory listening....its a promising start to the season and Balladeers and Chancers is the third visit in their October tour of Marches venues.

Next up are Ragged GloryClive, Jess and Caroline (guitar,flute,fiddle)are three show tent performers singing wild tales of love and laughter and a longing for a world where magic was a common part and not a mythical past...listing Kate Bush AND John Hymas on their webpage they sound like another fine addition to the Balladeers and Chancers roster...

and,not only but also..Howard Bragen, the smooth toned blues man of the Marches Delta returns for another no doubt assured and well honed set at Balladeers and Chancers
As well as a multi-instrumentalist you can check out his band and new album 'Looking at Now through Then'

as for the Chancer? ..well spread the news. Due to an uncustomary oversite by the good folk at Broad Sheep( and most likely due to my late posting) my contact details got left off the advert this month so more than ever we rely on you to spread the word.
Also I'm off to Eire for a while so it's unlikely that there'll be time to produce a flyer..so spread the word
